SINCE IT’S FOUNDING IN 1995, REMA HORT MANN FOUNDATION HAS AWARDED OVER 2,000 QUALITY OF LIFE CANCER GRANTS TO CANCER PATIENTS RECEIVING TREATMENT AND OVER 600 EMERGING ARTIST GRANTS AND ARTIST COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT GRANTS TO PROMISING ARTISTS, TOTALING OVER $8 MILLION.
“The global fight against racism has been exhausting, and deeply traumatic. My performance piece, Fuck White Supremacy, Let’s Get Free, gives space to people who are tired of the structures of white supremacy and the impact on our bodies. This grant supported the development and implementation of this piece at the Hammer Museum.”
