Artist Statement
Sarah Gail is a multi-platform, pansexual, panromantic artist with a lust for life that goes unrivaled. She is most well known for her introspective and equally thought provoking poems & performances. As much as her work is about challenging white heteropatriarchy, it is also very much about bold new meditations that serve communities and build brighter futures. She continues to experiment with platforms and mediums, notably she has created a zine entitled “Racial Disparity & the Plight of the African American Female” with an accompanying short film and a tape of her performing poetry. At the core of it all, Sarah seeks to inspire empathy and love while also reminding us of the multiple platitudes of love. Whether it is romantic love, sexual love, a love of community or love of life—Sarah Gail is devoted to the radical healing power of love.
