Artist Statement

My work throughout 2016 is on pace with today’s mobile culture and instantaneous acquisition of opinion webbed knowledge; an ongoing relational arrangement of subconscious motion amidst multiple ascending/descending vertical horizons and tidal like sequences. Architectural and microbial elements are simultaneously activated through swift repetition. Forging forward into subterranean levels and distances of chromatic variation that when viewed both in person and within the subsequent confines of our illuminated devices, are contending and collaborating with this new kind of globalized “haptic information scale” in an immersive flux.

Utilizing modern drone technology as a tool for the updated discovery of land features and sky rotations, I portray an array of aerial pockets and viewpoints throughout my work which are in unison with the intimate perspective I have developed since being a student in the elevations of Colorado and abound for several years. My approach to mark making in our current era maintains a regenerative ability to compose at a proficiently rapid pace with potential to decelerate through thin layers of momentum mentally harvested from new experiences, sport, dance and various daily routines.

Combining these principles with a unique historical energy harnessed in my base station / laboratory / studio, (which by random spiritual chance is the old space of And After Reinhardt at, I am blending these various points of contact with with a psychological viscosity; synthesizing hand swipes, body coordinates and posterior movements in a day-to-day documentary format, each an environment synthesized from the last with an ability to adjust to the futures past.
